Hunter loves this thing. He really likes the part with the mirror cuz he can see himself and he just thinks it's wonderful. (I think his Uncle Danny has rubbed off on him a bit. :)

Last weekend we were sitting on the couch playing with Hunter. It had been a good 3 1/2 hours since he had eaten so I thought we would be okay. I lifted him up over my head, cuz he loves it so much, and as I was bringing him back down I could see it coming and I hoped I moved him down fast enough. No such luck. He got my head! That white stuff, yep, it's puke. Josh busted up laughing because he thought it was so funny. Then Hunter started laughing a little. Watching Hunter laugh made me laugh even harder, which in turn made Hunter laugh even harder. He was busting a gut laughing. He thought it was so funny. All I could do was laugh, if I didn't I probably would have cried. This is the best he's ever gotten me. It's a good thing I love him.

Hunter thinks he's pretty hot stuff these day being able to have his own couch cushion. It's a good thing there's 3 of them. One for each of us.
He does pretty good sitting up as long as he has help to support him.

RSV...it stinks!

My poor little Hunter has this lovely infection. It stinks. He is so miserable. He doesn't eat much, he's got a horrible cough, a runny nose, and he weezes very bad. He cries a lot and he likes to be held and cuddled. He hasn't had much sleep because he's so miserable, thus I don't get much sleep. I'm staying home with him today, Thursday, and Friday and Josh is staying home with him tomorrow. It all started as a bad cold and then over the weekend it led to this. It is contagious and it's going around the daycare and I'm sure that's where he got it from. The doctor said that the cough and weezing can last up to a couple of months. It's no fun being sick!

Respiratory syncytial virus infection, usually called RSV, is a lot like a bad cold. It causes the same symptoms. And like a cold, it is very common and very contagious. Most children have had it at least once by age 2.

What causes RSV infection?
A virus causes RSV infection. Like a cold virus, RSV attacks your nose, eyes, throat, and lungs. It spreads like a cold too, when you cough, sneeze, or share food or drinks.
There are many kinds of RSV, so your body never becomes immune to it. You can get it again and again throughout your life, sometimes during the same season.

What are the symptoms?
RSV usually causes the same symptoms as a bad cold, such as:
A cough.
A stuffy or runny nose.
A mild sore throat.
An earache.
A fever.

Babies with RSV may also:
Have no energy.
Act fussy or cranky.
Be less hungry than usual.
Some children have more serious symptoms, like wheezing. Call your doctor if your child is wheezing or having trouble breathing.
